그 맑고 환한 밤중에

뭇 천사 내려와

​

It came up-on the mid-night clear,

That glo-rious song of old,

​

그 손에 비파 들고서

다 찬송하기를

​

From an-gels bend-ing near the earth,

To touch their harps of gold;

​

평강의 왕이 오시니

다 평안하여라

​

"Peace on the earth, good-will to men.

From heaven's all gra-cious King."

​

그 소란하던 세상이

다 고요하도다

​

The world in sol-emn still-ness lay

To hear the an-gels sing.

​

뭇 천사 날개 펴고

이 땅에 내려와

​

Still thro' the clo-ven skies they come,

With peace-ful wings un-furled,

​

그때에 부른 노래가

또다시 들리니

​

And still their heaven-ly mu-sic floats

O'er all the wea-ry world;

​

이 슬픔 많은 세상에

큰 위로 넘치고

​

A-bove its sad and low-ly plain

They bend on hov-ering wing,

​

온 세상 기뻐 뛰놀며

다 찬송하도다

And ev-er o'er its Ba-bel sounds

주 예수 탄생하시니

온 세상 구주라

저 천사 기쁜 노래를

또다시 부르니

온 세상 사는 사람들
