주가 지신 십자가를

나는 자랑하노라

​

In the cross of Christ I glo-ry,

Tow'r-ing o'er the wrecks of time.

​

성경중의 모든 말씀

거기 중심 되었네

​

All the light of sa-cred sto-ry

Gath-ers round its head sub-lime.

​

온갖 환난 덮쳐와도

십자가의 은혜로

​

When the woes of life o'er-take me,

Hopes de-ceive, and fears an-noy,

​

버림받지 아니하고

평안함을 얻었네

​

Nev-er shall the Cross for-sake me.

Lo! It glows with peace and joy.

​

밝은 아침 빛과 사랑

나의 길을 비출 때

​

When the sun of bliss is beam-ing

Light and love up-on my way,

​

십자가의 빛난 영광

더욱 찬란하여라

​

From the Cross the ra-diance stream-ing

Adds more lus-ter to the day.

​

온갖 기쁨 갖은 고초

십자가의 은혜로

​

Bane and bless-ing, pain and pleas-ure,

By the cross are sanc-ti-fied;

​

참된 평화 한량없이

영원토록 누리리 아멘

Peace is there that knows no meas-ure,
