주가 고난을 당한 표라

On a hill for a-way stood an old rug-ged cross,

The em-blem of suf-fering and shame;

​

험한 십자가를 내가 사랑함은

주가 보혈을 흘림일세

And I love that old cross where the dear-est and best

For a world of lost sin-ners was slain.

최후 승리를 얻기까지

주의 십자가 사랑하리

Till my tro-phies at last I lay down

빛난 면류관 받기까지
